In a world more isolated than ever due to COVID-19, students who live half a world away, came together to create this beautiful music production of The Lion Sleeps Tonight.
While the production played a valuable role in the student's music education, the real stars of the show were the young students at the Brightshiners Junior School in Nairobi, Kenya.
Led by music co-ordinator Phil Rooke, the video was the result of over 12 months work and features students from Santa Sophia Catholic College, St Luke's Catholic College and Chisholm Catholic Primary School.
We are very excited to finally share with you the result of months of collaborating between our school and Brightshiners Junior school in Kenya along with other schools in our Diocese. Special thanks to our music teacher Mr Phil Rooke who coordinated this project.
